Business Idea: AI Quizlet

Flashcards for everything.

Before we get into it, I want to tell you about a business with a really cool idea that we've been testing out. It's called Beehiiv. And the whole idea is that it's an email service provider with flat-rate pricing.

We've always used Mailchimp. And we spend hundreds of dollars a month because we have lots of subscribers. But the idea with Beehiiv is that whether you have 10k or 20k, you only pay $49 or $99 a month. Plus they have lots of cool features like built-in referral programs and newsletter swaps.

If you have a newsletter, I highly recommend checking them out. We're going to be slowly switching over to them over the next couple weeks. This email is from Beehiiv. You're part of the earliest batch of subscribers that we switched over. If you're interested, you can use the button below to go check them out.

The Background

Most American students have used Quizlet flashcards at some point in their life.

The basic premise is that users would create flashcards to study a topic, and then they would be accessible to everyone else.

The Idea

-----

The idea this week is to take that one step further.

With AI tech (I know, AI is getting a little boring) we could automatically comb through textbooks, lecture notes, etc and generate flash cards.

We could also then categorize them by subject and chapter so that it's super easy to find what you're looking for.

You could also create a different page for each flashcard so that the site ranks for keywords like "what is the 4th planet from the sun" or whatever the flashcard is about.

"You don't need to be a genius or a visionary, or even a college graduate for that matter, to be successful. You just need a framework and a dream."
